"Statue of Liberty"

Slowly I rise out of the sea
a symbol of great liberty.
As Dawn grows near,
I hear the cries and feel the pain
of a nation still trying to gain
the freedom and the rights of me,
the Statue of Liberty.
I'm the symbol of times both good and bad
The happiness and greif had
and the love we all share.
I represent the American dream
and the things that can happen
when we work as a team,
The things we want, the things
we need are all part of me,
the Statue of Liberty.
